“Everything happens for a reason.” I’ve always believed that every experience carries a purpose. Every twist and turn in life has something greater. Even if it doesn’t feel that way in the moment. There are times when you pour your heart into praying, manifesting, and dreaming of something you’ve always wanted. Sometimes, it unfolds exactly as you hoped. Other times, it doesn’t, leaving you feeling heartbroken and discouraged.
But here’s the truth: it’s not because you’re unworthy or undeserving. It’s because you’re meant for something far greater than what you imagined. You are worthy of all the beauty and blessings life has to offer. When things don’t work out as planned, it’s not a failure. It’s life steering you toward what’s best aligned with your highest good. Sometimes, what you think you want isn’t truly what you need. Often, life has a way of redirecting you toward something better.
When plans fall apart, take a moment to breathe. Be gentle with yourself. Resist the urge to question your worth or criticize yourself. It’s okay if things don’t go your way, you’re not meant to control everything. Life often unfolds in ways we can’t fully understand. Some of its greatest gifts come disguised as setbacks or disappointments.
Remember this: “What’s meant for you will never pass you by.” If you don’t get what you want, it’s not a sign of failure. It’s a sign that you’re destined for something even better. When something you cherished slips away, it fulfilled its purpose. Maybe it came into your life to teach you, to help you grow, or to prepare you for what’s next. And if what you want hasn’t arrived yet, it’s simply not the right time.
Trust the process. Trust yourself. Never settle for less than you deserve. Sometimes, we convince ourselves that something is meant for us just because we want it so badly. But life often has a bigger, wiser plan. The job you didn’t get, the school you weren’t accepted into, the relationship that ended these aren’t failures. They’re redirection, guiding you toward something even greater.
Every rejection is a step in the right direction. Every detour is part of a larger plan. One day, you’ll look back. You will see how even the moments that felt like falling apart were actually falling into place. Whether you call it fate, God, or the universe, there’s a force leading you toward something meaningful. It will never pass you by because it was always meant for you.
So, trust the timing. Trust the journey. And above all, trust that you are deserving of life’s best. You were never meant to settle and you never will.
